Biography
Misa has been working as a law clerk in the Law Offices of Yang and Associates, PLLC in Houston for two years, handling immigration cases such as H-1B, L-1, EB-5 and N-400. After graduated from the Law School in Iowa, she worked as a paralegal in Menaker & Herrmann LLP in New York for a year, assisting sixteen (16) attorneys on cases in different areas of law, including Litigation, Real Estate, Immigration, Bankruptcy and more. She then relocated to the Great Seattle area with family.
Since joining Shanze Partners PLLC in 2011 as a paralegal, Misa primarily focuses on litigation cases, while also assisting all the attorneys in the firm in handling various cases including Corporation and Transactions, Bankruptcy, Immigration, Family Law, Estate Planning and Intellectual Property. She is skilled in conducting legal research, document drafting and preparation, filing with State and Federal Courts, calendar and docket management, as well as providing interpretation/translation support and assisting client communication. She is patient, detail-oriented and enthusiastic in assisting clients to achieve their goals to their best interests in various legal proceedings.
Misa received her LL.B. degree from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, School of Law, and her LL.M. (International Comparative Law Track) from the University of Iowa, School of Law. She is a member of the Seattle Chinese Bar Association.
