Biography

Xinyuan “Echo” Zhang is an associate attorney at Shanze Partners PLLC, where she proficiently addresses the complexities of civil litigation and bankruptcy, ensuring thorough and dedicated representation for businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors.

Echo obtained her J.D. at the University of Washington School of Law, where she served as Executive Managing Editor for the Washington Journal of Social and Environmental Justice — a position reflecting her dedication to social causes. This followed her B.A. in Philosophy from University College London in 2020.

During her legal education, Echo acquired invaluable dispute resolution experience through her externship with Justice Gordon McCloud at the Washington Supreme Court and her internship with the international dispute resolution team at King & Wood Mallesons, building a nuanced understanding of dispute resolution from both domestic and international perspectives.

Echo also demonstrates an enduring commitment to community service. She has volunteered with the Asian Bar Association Legal Clinic and Community Rise, where she advocates for underrepresented sectors within the Asian community.
