Biography

Attorney Vanessa Yang is an associate attorney at Shanze Partners PLLC. Since 2019, she has built her practice focused on immigration, business and real estate law, helping individual and corporate clients navigate their legal needs.

Vanessa’s expertise includes advising on, preparing, and filing various immigration and non-immigration petitions, such as I-130, I-140 (EB-1/NIW), PERM, EB-4, I-485, L-1, H-1B, and O-1. She has a strong track record of helping clients successfully respond to requests and inquiries from immigration authorities, appeal undesirable immigration decisions, and resolve complex immigration issues.

Vanessa also represents clients in complex business disputes, immigration-related investment disputes, and landlord-tenant disputes including unlawful detainer actions.

Vanessa received her LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) and LL.M. (Master of Laws) degrees from East China University of Political Science and Law, and her second LL.M. degree from the University of Washington, School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in New York and Washington, and she was admitted as a licensed attorney in the People’s Republic of China in 2014.
